Ethical investing, or ESG (‘Environmental, Social, and Governance’), has been a buzzword on the edges of the investment industry for decades, but now we’re starting to see people use their savings to back their ethics – with flows into ethical investment strategies starting to rise.

Our Personal Finance Analyst, Laura Suter, takes a look at what’s driving this trend, who the investors are who are backing these strategies and what their goals are. And as more money is drawn into ethical investing, how are investment companies responding? Do we all need to be wary of greenwashing and cynical grabs for assets?
